ADD Diet Challenge 7

11 Apr

Started off the morning right with apple cinnamon pancakes.  Soooo good!  Just add half a cup of applesauce and about a quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon.  Lunch and dinner were fend for yourself.  Mama was tired.  Grace drank about six cups of water with her lunch.  I think she just likes being able to do it herself.

The shower went well.  We ate before we left and just brought snacks with us.  It was hard to turn down the cake.  But it would’ve  been cruel to eat a slice in front of Grace.  Trust me, she watched us like a hawk to be sure we didn’t eat so much as a crumb.  On a down note, Chris did give her some high fructose corn syrup jelly today.  He says it was in the fridge, therefore he thought it was fine.  He didn’t think he needed to check the label since I hadn’t thrown it out.  You know, I’m not supermom.  Some things have escaped the purge.

All the unopened food we can’t eat, we are donating.  Someone else can benefit from our unwanted food.  It’s all bagged up and ready for the food shelf.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go to bed.  This girl is exhausted.

fyi, skippy natural peanutbutter is the best peanutbutter out there. better than adam’s by a landslide and 1000 times less fussy than the liquid that ends up at the bottom of adam’s and all the other organics and naturals. skippy natural is comparable to the un-natural stuff, and it doesnt have to be refrigerated. in terms of taste, ive yet to see anything that compares. organic, natural or otherwise.

I do have Skippy all-natural. I take my pb seriously. I have also just discovered Heinz 57 all-natural. Didn’t taste it yet, but I’ve got high hopes.
